Discover the magical landscapes of Namibia and the spectacular wildlife of Etosha National Park. Cederberg (SA), Fish River Canyon, Ai Ais, Sossusvlei, Brandberg, .... are all scheduled on our route. Sleeping under the starry sky, or sleeping in a luxurious lodge, cooking on a small fire or a 3-course menu in a restaurant, dry desert areas, desolate landscapes and the red dunes of Sossusvlei or the flourishing greenery of Cederberg....  ; Namibia, it simply never gets boring!

 

Once we have arrived in Cape Town we will pick up our rental motorcycle. In the afternoon we still have time to visit Cape Town and enjoy a welcome dinner in the harbour.

The next day we leave for Cederberg, a region where they claim that the giants played with the rocks as we did with the Lego blocks. Even petroglyphs can be found in the caves. We set up our tents in the wild nature and enjoy our first ride by a campfire.

At dawn we load our bikes and head to Springbok to cross the border into Namibia the next day. In a dry riverbed we again set up camp next to a meter-high rock wall. If you want to see the starry sky somewhere, then this is definitely the place to be.

The next day we drive to the Ai Ais national Park. We first pitch our tent next to a fantastic Roadhouse. Fans of old cars will be able to feast their eyes. In the evening we crawl back on our motorbikes and drive to the Fish River Canyon to admire the sunset.

After kilometers of gravel desert and a night of wild camping near Bethanien, we stop in Sossusvlei where we pitch our tent for 2 nights. During our day break we take the bush bus to the famous red dunes and climb Dune 7 with its 388 meters high.... We promise you can roll them down afterwards.... !

After our rest day we drive via Swakopmund and around the Brandberg - the highest mountain in Namibia - to the Etosha National Park where we will also stay for 2 nights and take a safari with guides in the park during a 2nd rest day.

The next day will be our last full day on the motorcycle towards Windhoek where we take the plane back home the next day.

​

​This trip is suitable for the off-road pilot with basic off-road experience. Duo driving is possible, although some sandy parts will require some skill from the pilot.

​

We rent motorcycles in Cape Town. You cannot do this trip with your own motorcycle. You take your luggage and your tent with you on your motorcycle.
